JAKARTA, JITUNEWS.COM - The head of the Agency for Agricultural Research and development (Balitbangtan), Muhammad Syakir, said that the pace of improvement of agricultural production at the moment is not only focused on the expansion of the plant, but the development of innovation in the agricultural sector becomes an important point that should be immediately done.

“We will continue to seek measures innovation development in the agricultural sector in order to support the increased production of agricultural sector“, said Syakir in Conference press office at Balitbangtan, Monday (18/4).

He also ensure that Balitbangtan will continue to support the Government's efforts in boosting production through the development of innovation.

“Balitbangtan will be present through the development of innovation in the food sector”, he said.

According to him, the UPSUS strived by the Government gives a very big contribution to the development of production in the agricultural sector at this time.

“And we will continue to support it through the efforts of the development of a number of new innovations”, said Syakir.
